Silverstone Senior Living begins construction on $100 million senior living community at National Landing

MCLEAN, Virginia March 4, 2020 – Dallas-based Silverstone Senior Living moved a step closer to delivering brand new senior housing to National Landing – Alexandria, Virginia’s newest emerging neighborhood.

Scheduled for completion in early 2022, The Landing of Alexandria is a $100 million, 216,000 square foot development that will include 163 residences and offer independent and assisted living as well as memory care services. First class resident amenities will include a spa and salon, wellness and fitness center, multiple dining venues, activity spaces and resident lounges as well as the convenience of a CVS Pharmacy on the ground floor.  

Located on 1.4 acres, the property is in the Potomac Yard section of National Landing at 2620 Main Line Boulevard and boasts proximity to Amazon’s second headquarters, the future Virginia Tech Innovation Campus and Old Town Alexandria.

The Landing of Alexandria is the largest Silverstone project currently under development and is part the company’s $500 million expansion plan in the Greater Washington area. Last year the company broke ground on projects in Fairfax, Virginia and Rockville, Maryland totaling more than $150 million.
